Oskar Helcel (*24. prosince 1995) je audiovizuální umělec, fotograf a performer. Vystudoval fotografii na FAMU v ateliérech Markéty Kinterové a Hynka Alta. Má za sebou několik samostatných i skupinových výstav (například PAF Other Visions, Galerie XY, 2022; Glajcha, Studio Josefa Sudka, 2022; Tekoucí Dům, Galerie Jelení, Praha, 2020; Argumented Reality, online výstava, NFA, 2021; Domy kultury, Centrum a Nadace pro současné umění Praha, ve spolupráci s Martinem Netočným, 2019). Získal čestné uznání v evropské soutěži uměleckých prací START POINT Prize 2020. Je spoluzakladatelem a aktivním členem divadelní skupiny Akolektiv Helmut.
V roce 2024 se stal jedním z laureátů Ceny Jindřicha Chalupeckého.

Bio /eng/
Oskar Helcel (*24. 12. 1995) is an audiovisual artist, photographer and performer. He graduated from the Department of Photography at FAMU in the studios of Markéta Kinterová and Hynek Alt. He has had several solo and group exhibitions (e.g. PAF Other Visions, Gallery XY, 2022; Glajcha, Josef Sudek Studio, 2022; Tekoucí Dům, Galerie Jelení, Prague, 2020; Argumented Reality, online exhibition, NFA, 2021; Houses of Culture, Centre and Foundation for Contemporary Art Prague, in collaboration with Martin Netočný, 2019). He received an honorable mention in the European art thesis competition START POINT Prize 2020. He is a co-founder and active member of the theatre group Akolektiv Helmut. In 2024 he became one of the laureates of the Jindřich Chalupecký Award.
